Raja holds a BSc (First Class Hon.) from City, University of London, an MSc from Imperial College London, and an MBA from Bayes Business School London.
Aisling Quinn

Aisling Quinn has worked with Mandarin Matrix from genesis to adolescence. As a mother with three children learning Mandarin, she focuses on the development lens, demanding that traditional teaching methods be more interactive and compelling. Aisling has a BA in Consumer Science and she brings a scientific approach to both the product and human capital employed on three continents.

Keiko is a native Japanese speaker. Her diverse background includes experience in Hong Kong, Japan, and the UK. Before joining us, she worked in a stock company and had a successful airline career. Holding an English degree, Keiko has raised bilingual children and extended her skills to translation services and teaching. Passionate about education, she believes in the empowering potential of learning Mandarin and foreign languages.
Andrea Poon

Andrea joined Mandarin Matrix as a writer and product developer in 2017. Over the years, she has participated in all of the product development process. She is now the first and last person responsible for delivering products of the highest standard. Andrea has a Bachelor’s degree in Language Studies and a Master’s degree in Applied English Linguistics.

Jimmy holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from Hong Kong Shue Yan University. He joined Mandarin Matrix in 2014 and is mainly responsible for managing Mandarin Matrix Online Classroom, overseeing customer support processes, and developing strategic customer support operations to further enhance customer’s satisfaction.

Keith is a seasoned talent acquisition professional with 20 years of experience and a business administration degree. He has worked extensively in the Hong Kong and Chinese markets, with additional experience in the UK as an Operations Director. Currently, as the MENA – Asia Pacific Business Development Director at Mandarin Matrix, Keith leads business development for innovative Chinese language education solutions. He previously held leadership positions in executive search firms, specializing in placing top-tier professionals across various industries.
Chiahua Chang

Chiahua is a fully qualified Chinese teacher with teaching experience in Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, and the UK. She’s especially experienced in IB programs as she is also an IB MYP examiner. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Literature and an MBA. She currently heads up business development in Mandarin Matrix for the Asia Pacific region.

Amy joined us in 2024 as the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development for the Americas and Europe. With over 30 years of experience in language education and a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership, she supports educators and students in achieving their goals. Fluent in multiple languages, Amy is the key contact for sales and inquiries, focusing on strategic partnerships and business growth. She loves to travel and has visited 26 countries. Amy has been a vegetarian for over 30 years.

Dr. Bill Rivers has more than 35 years’ experience in language advocacy and capacity at the national level, with significant experience in culture and language for economic development and national security, and publications in second and third language acquisition research, proficiency assessment, program evaluation, and language policy development and advocacy.

Aryani is the Business Development Manager at Mandarin Matrix, where she leverages her extensive background in banking, finance, and family office management. A native Indonesian speaker, Aryani’s unique blend of expertise and personable approach enables her to excel in her role with ease. Holding both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Australia, she balances her professional life while raising three multilingual children. Currently commuting between Hong Kong, Boston, and Jakarta, Aryani embraces her dynamic lifestyle that she wouldn’t have it any other way. In her free time, she enjoys reading, taking long walks, and spending quality moments with friends and family.

Rizwana graduated from Middlesex University in the UK in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Politics. In 2007, she joined UBS Investment Bank as a Risk IT Supply Analyst before shifting her focus to work in the EMEA Regional Project Management Office (PMO) within Corporate Centre IT. Rizwana moved to Hong Kong in 2017 and began working at P3 publishing company as a sales account manager for Playtimes and Mandarin Matrix.

Joyce is a seasoned publishing professional based in Hong Kong. She has been involved with Mandarin Matrix from the start. Since joining the leadership team of Ni Hao Know How in 2024, Joyce continues to develop bilingual learning materials for an international audience, and enjoys creating an evolving suite of products relevant to the needs of the hospitality industry. Joyce is a graduate of Columbia University in New York, and completed her postgraduate degree at the University of London.

Reita holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. She joined the Mandarin Matrix team in 2015 and is mainly responsible for the illustration and design of Mandarin Matrix books and other marketing artworks.

Tsoi joined Mandarin Matrix in 2019 after working in a University Press for two years. As a graphic designer, she expresses ideas and stories visually, and is committed to creating simple and effective materials that enhance student’s interest in learning. When not working, she is either out for a run or getting her hands dirty with clay.

Lewi joined Mandarin Matrix in 2021 after finishing his study on Creative Media in Hong Kong Design Institute. Designing and drawing are his passion. Being a graphic designer, he creates teaching and marketing materials. He is also a big fan of anime, some of his inspirations were inspired by it. In his spare time, Lewi enjoys listening to music and exercising.

Jennifer is an experienced Chinese teacher with 20 years of experience, who specialises in IGCSE, IB, AP, A-level and Pre-U. She has worked in Singapore, China and the USA for a decade engaging in Hospitality and China trade.
In addition to a Chinese Language and Literature degree, she also obtains Child Care and Family Development Diploma and she dedicates her time to helping children with special needs in a church.

Athena joined Mandarin Matrix in 2020 as the Head of Social Media and Digital Marketing. She works alongside the Marketing and Design team to create innovative and engaging content that is representative of the company’s vision. She is studying Politics and Public Administration at Hong Kong University. In her free time, she likes to hike, spend time with her dogs, and relax at the beach.

Judy joined the company in 2011 as an Accountant after spending over 20 years at Getty Images Ltd, a major photo stock library in the USA. She manages payroll, banking, and accounting functions, playing a key role in maintaining the company’s financial operations. Judy’s experience and attention to detail help ensure smooth financial processes within the organization.

Charles joined the company in 2012 as a general administrative and accounting assistant. He has previously worked for many organisations in various industries in the USA, Hong Kong and China. He is responsible for warehousing, shipping, and purchasing; also deals with suppliers and handles printed products.
