New HSK Course 3 is the primary textbook for Level 3 of New HSK Course series, designed for learners who have completed approximately 60-80 class hours, mastered around 500 vocabulary words, and are preparing to take the HSK (Level 3) exam. The book consists of 18 lessons, with vocabulary aligned with the 500 words required by the HSK 3.0 syllabus, slightly expanded, and covers 63 language points. Texts are presented as short situational dramas, with storylines arranged in a coherent sequence. The characters and plots are interconnected yet relatively independent. The lessons’ content, vocabulary, and language points fully align with the topics, tasks, vocabulary, grammar, and Chinese characters specified in the HSK 3.0 syllabus. As a supporting curriculum for the HSK 3.0 examination, New HSK Course series emphasizes a learner-centered approach and aims to integrate HSK examination preparation with Chinese language learning, striving to achieve mutual promotion of assessment, teaching, learning, and application.
